Privacy Policy
Fortexa Investigations LLC (“we”, “us”) operates the website fortexainvestigations.com, an automated WhatsApp assistant on our business number +1 (877) 687-6770, and the Telegram bot @Verifybizbot and the Android app Verifybiz — Scam Checker (“Verifybiz”). This policy describes what information these services process — and, just as importantly, what they do not.
Our services are intended for adults.
Our core principle: we do not keep client data
- We do not store your messages. On WhatsApp and Telegram, our systems read an incoming message only in order to respond to it. Message content is processed in real time and is not retained.
- We do not create client databases. We maintain no database of clients, contacts, conversations, or checks, and we do not build profiles of the people who write to us.
- We do not sell, rent, or share information about our users with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
Website
Our website does not use cookies, trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics. If you contact us through any option published on the site, we receive only the information you choose to send us, and we use it only to respond to your inquiry.
WhatsApp assistant
Our WhatsApp number is answered by an automated assistant built on the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta).
- The assistant processes your phone number and the text of your message solely to generate a reply. Your profile name is not used.
- The assistant keeps no record of the conversation. The only operational data is a minimal technical note about the state of the dialogue — the topic discussed and the dialogue language, without any message content — which is deleted automatically within 24 hours and exists only so the assistant does not lose the thread of an ongoing conversation.
- If our investigator replies to you personally in the chat, your number is placed on an internal do-not-disturb list so that the automated assistant never posts in that chat again. This list contains phone numbers only and is used for no other purpose.
- Messages are transmitted through WhatsApp; Meta’s own privacy policy applies to that transmission.
Telegram bot (Verifybiz)
The Verifybiz bot checks companies against public regulator warning lists.
The bot does not ask for or collect any personal information about you. The only data processed about you is your Telegram user ID, used solely to verify your subscription to our channel (which is required for access) and to operate the bot; it is not stored in a user database.
What you type into the bot is the name or website of a company you want checked — public information about that company, not personal information about you. The check runs on our own server against copies of public warning lists that we download in advance: the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Central Bank of Russia, the French Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), published Swiss cybercrime police warnings, and the PhishDestroy community blocklist. Nothing you type is transmitted to those sources or to anyone else.
A check result may be cached for approximately five minutes for technical reasons. We keep no history of who checked what.
Android app (Verifybiz)
The Verifybiz — Scam Checker app for Android checks companies against the same public warning lists as the Telegram bot, but the check runs entirely on your device.
- The app is published on Google Play: Verifybiz — Scam Checker.
- The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
- What you type into the app is checked on your phone against a copy of the warning lists that the app downloads as a data file and refreshes periodically. Nothing you type leaves your device.
- The data file is hosted on Google Drive; the download itself is handled by Google under Google’s own privacy policy.
- The app contains a link to contact us on Telegram. If you follow it, Telegram’s own privacy policy applies.
Service providers
We rely on technical platforms to operate these services — Meta (WhatsApp), Telegram, Google, and our hosting and database providers. They process data only as necessary to deliver the service, under their own privacy policies. This is not a sale or sharing of data: it is the mechanics of the platforms themselves.
Legal requirements
We do not maintain stored client data, so there is ordinarily nothing for us to disclose. If we ever receive a lawful demand, we will provide only what we are legally required to provide. Data handled by the messaging platforms themselves (Meta / WhatsApp and Telegram) is governed by their own privacy policies and legal processes.
Your rights
Because we do not retain client data, in most cases there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. You may still contact us at any time to ask whether we hold any information about you and to request its deletion:
